Marcus Anderson, Fernando Garcia, and Steve Miramontes are three students in Mr. Danziger's class. They wrote an essay based on a prompt called "I Come From" which were selected for publication by Pen Center USA. Mr. Danziger, a Venice High English teacher, is a member of Pen in the Classroom and many of his students' essays have been published in anthologies by Pen in the Classroom.
